Podczas produkcji zawsze zdarza się, że na dnie butelki zostaje niewielka kropla oleju lub trochę mydła przywiera do formy. Mottem Nurme jest produkcja bez odpadów produkcyjnych oraz maksymalne wykorzystanie wszystkiego. W ten sposób powstało mydło bez opakowania, zawierające resztki, które powstają przy produkcji wszystkich naszych mydeł.

Mydło mieszane bez opakowania otrzymujesz od razu w większej ilości, dzięki czemu nie trzeba obciążać środowiska transportem każdej pojedynczej kostki mydła. Przesyłka dociera do Ciebie w papierowej torbie, która dobrze nadaje się do przechowywania mydeł do czasu, aż przyjdzie ich kolej, by je zużyć. Mydło nie wymaga specjalnych warunków przechowywania i może być trzymane na półce lub w szafce w zwykłych warunkach domowych przez lata, jeśli nie dekady. Wszystkie mydła w kostce Nurme są wytwarzane z naturalnych składników metodą na zimno. Aby osiągnąć najwyższą jakość, sezonujemy mydła w kostce w odpowiedniej temperaturze przez co najmniej 30 dni. W tym czasie pierwotnie dodana woda odparowuje, mydło się zmydla, staje się twardsze i trwalsze. Im dłużej mydło dojrzewa, tym bardziej wysycha i traci na wadze, niczym dojrzewający twardy ser, który dostarcza doznań prawdziwym smakoszom naturalnych kosmetyków.
